Clinical Effect of Choline Magnesium Hrisalicylate In Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis

Abstract
|
|
|
This clinical sudy focused on the efficacy of Choline Magnesium Trisalicylate in treating 52 cases of osteoarthritis and 28 cases of rheumatoid arthritis.
The patients were given 2. 0 gms of Trilisate, b. i. d. by mouth for 7 weeks in maximum.
The good effect was obtained in 86% in osteoarthritis and 73% in rheumatoid arthritis.
In osteoarthritis, 4 cases had side effects, but it was mild and transitory which was subsided by the discontinuance of medication.
Night pain was much diminished and reduced in the knee joint of osteoarthritis.
In rheumatoid arthritis morning stiffness was reduced more effectively.
